As a result of the great technological development we are going through and the arrival of the new digital era, Internet security is an essential issue, especially when most transactions are carried out in real time through the network.  Phishing attacks or identity theft are becoming increasingly sophisticated and difficult to detect, but authentication without passwords can save us from them.

With passwordless authentication we will be able to access our services without entering any password because it uses other security factors such as biometrics, location...

Why do we say that this system is practically impervious to identity theft?

It is impervious to this type of theft because it is the most secure method, since it does not rely on any password that can be easily stolen, but it relies on the person himself, his physical features or his movements to access the services. It is very complicated and almost impossible to replicate the same features as the user to proceed with the theft.

Such authentication can also include two-factor authentication (2FA) or multi-factor authentication (MFA) techniques, thus adding an additional layer of security by requiring the user to provide more than one authentication to know whether or not it is a fraudulent login.

We want to raise awareness of the constantly evolving methods of theft and the importance of protecting our personal information on the network. Authentication without passwords is one of the safest alternatives, and also improves the user experience since access is faster and easier.
